The XS Sights GL0009P3Y: DXW2 Big Dot front sights employ an innovative, patent-pending glow dot mechanism. This feature absorbs ambient light and illuminates in low light conditions before it gets dark enough to require the usage of the tritium. This results in an uninterrupted and clear sight picture even in varying lighting conditions.

The 'dot the i' sight picture, consisting of a tritium front sight dot combined with a non-tritium white stripe at the rear, is purposely designed to avoid any confusion between the front and rear sight, particularly in high-pressure situations. This setup ensures prompt and precise target recognition.

Given the likelihood of both the victim and the attacker being in motion during a confrontation, a broader field of vision is paramount.
