The Model 70 action comes with a Pre-'64 style Controlled Round Feeding and a Three-Position Safety, accentuated by an elegant jeweled bolt body and a knurled bolt handle. It also incorporates the world-class M.O.A Trigger System, known as the best trigger ever integrated into a bolt-action, which ensures zero take up, zero creep and zero overtravel.

Maintaining the esteemed tradition of the original Featherweight, it features an angled comb Grade I walnut stock with a Schnabel fore-end. The stock is finished with a satin sheen and flaunts stylish cut checkering for an elevated look. Moreover, the Model 70 action includes a high-quality Pachmayr Decelerator pad, designed to effectively absorb and reduce felt recoil.
