It merges the proven elements from the Model 70 with more economical manufacturing techniques, making the XPR an excellent hunting rifle at a cost-effective price. The superior polymer stock is specially designed for exceptional grip even in damp environments, and it is highly resistant to scratches and bumps.

The barrel showcases a durable, non-reflective finish and features a recessed target crown. The receiver is precisely drilled and tapped for sturdy 8-40 screws. Among other noteworthy characteristics of the XPR include a detachable box magazine, Inflex Technology recoil pad, M.O.A. trigger system, and a bolt unlock button. This particular model comes with a Permacote flat dark earth finish for the receiver and barrel, and sports a synthetic TrueTimber Strata camouflage stock.
