The XPR from Winchester is a groundbreaking rifle designed to live up to the high standards of today's hunters. This sturdy, pragmatic hunting instrument is certain to stock your freezer for decades. The feature-laden XPR bolt-action rifle represents the enduring quality that Winchester Repeating Arms is known for. The M.O.A. Trigger System, exclusive to every XPR rifle, is at the heart of its functionality. The trigger and all its internal parts are polished and blue finished hardened carbon steel, granting enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The two-position safety, conveniently operated by the shooting hand's thumb, is located just in front of the action releasing button, allowing the action to cycle without firing whilst the safety is engaged. The bolt shroud houses a cocking indicator, offering both touch and sight indicators of the rifle's cocked or uncocked status.

The sturdy XPR bolt, made from chromoly steel barstock and through-hardened during heat-treatment, provides three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift for better scope clearance while reloading. A Teflon coating, resistant to nickel, guarantees a smooth operation and additional corrosion resistance. The harmonious combination of the trigger guard and frame offers a wide opening guard suitable for glove-wearing users. The XPR rifle's chromoly steel barrel, precisely button-rifled, delivers remarkable accuracy for various bullet weights and types. In order to eliminate any pressure points compromising accuracy, the barrel is entirely free-floating. Further features of the XPR include a drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver, a synthetic stock fitted with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a detachable single-stack box magazine.
