PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 2G Shol-Buff Kit from Wilson Combat is designed specifically for the 1911 Government model. The kit is comprehensive, containing two Shok-Buff buffers and a heavy-duty recoil spring for balanced performance. It is recommended to replace your Shok-Buff buffers after 1,000 rounds and the recoil spring after 2,000 rounds. Once the Shok-Buff buffers are used up, there is a need for a new kit, a convenient way to keep track of your recoil spring replacement schedule.
IMPORTANT: Our recoil springs are designed with a closed coil at one end to provide a solid seat on the guide rod. This special feature can be identified with its tightly wound double coils and a marginally narrower inner diameter. For the correct recoil spring installation, slide the closed coil-end over the stem of the guide rod, allowing the other end of the spring to rest against the recoil spring plug. Failure to install the recoil spring properly could cause erratic cycling and potential damage to the guide rod.
