The Weatherby VWB270NR4T Vanguard Rifle guarantees precision, promising to shoot a 3-shot group of .99" or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when coupled with Weatherby's factory or premium ammunition. The Vanguard is known for its match-grade, adjustable two-stage trigger, which can be adjusted to as low as 2.5 lbs. It also features a 3-position safety, permitting the shooter to operate the action while the safety remains engaged.

In pursuit of smooth operation, the Vanguard resorts to a meticulously machined one-piece bolt body. It's fluted for weight reduction and minimal bearing surface area, ensuring no binding for a smooth action. Should accidental case ruptures occur, three gas ports are designed to allow high-pressure gases to escape laterally. The inclusion of a gigantic M-16-style extractor guarantees fail-safe and positive extraction of shells.
