PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Alpine MDT Carbon, a creation of Weatherby, is ingeniously designed based on the Model 307 bolt action rifle platform. Its design appropriately fits into the historical Mark V and Vanguard series. This 2-lug, fully cylindrical Model 307 action is convenient for use with a variety of aftermarket accessories.

The cleverly constructed Alpine MDT Carbon is positioned on MDT's ultralight HNT26 Chassis System, acknowledged for being their premier purpose-built hunting rifle chassis. The stock that comes with this model offers all the standout features that are commonly associated with a chassis system. Prominently, it allows for adjustable length of pull, comb adjustment, and compatibility with the AICS magazine.

The chassis, designed with a magnesium alloy stock, carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and carbon fiber buttstock, weighs only 26oz. It features an integral ARCA rail on the forend which aids effortless attachment to a tripod, while its foldable buttstock ensures easy storage. The accuracy of the BSF carbon barrel is unmatched, and is equipped with Weatherby's signature Accubrake DST (Directional Self-Timing Brake).
