Kahr Arms T1CH: All the classic details of the time-honored original are reproduced in today's semi-auto Thompson 1927-A1. Commonly referred to as the "Tommy Gun" or "Chicago Typewriter," this firearm was made famous by gangsters but saw action all the way through WWII with our GI's overseas when the military realized the benefit of having a portable, magazine-fed, large caliber firearm. This faithful recreation of the iconic firearm uses a closed bolt system, 16.5" finned barrel for additional cooling, American Walnut pistol grip, vertical forward grip, and (fixed) stock. The case hardened receiver is given a clear protective coat to keep its beauty for years of use. Its receiver also has a blade front sight with an open rear adjustable sight, and the barrel features a Cutts compensator, bringing total barrel length to 18". The attention to detail in this firearm shows right down to the top side reciprocating charging handle. This model includes a 20-round stick magazine to hold the venerable .45 ACP cartridges.
