The Sylvan Arms SARM Rifle Mat is a rubberized cleaning mat that raises the standard that all cleaning mats should be held to. Featuring a thick rubber construction with 10 compartments built into the design to store your rifle components while cleaning, the truly innovative way this product shines is in the 4 magnetic squares shown in red on the left side of the mat. These magnetized rubber zones are perfect for keeping your small metallic parts confined and organized where you can find them. The rubber allows for solvent and oil to be cleaned easily and will not penetrate the material. Additional features built into this product are the 2 hanging tabs that allow you to stow the matt while not in use, an anti-slip backing, and it even comes in a durable plastic clear container for condensed storage. The manufacturer does warn that the mat ships rolled up in the storage container and may need to be flattened when first opened for the material to straighten out due to storage. They advise that it could take up to 1 week for it to fully flatten after first receiving it, but once it has flattened this will be a tremendous asset for current and future projects!
