The Steyr SSG 08, a high-precision and exceptional performance rifle, was crafted as per the stipulations of Austria's notable EKO COBRA anti-terrorism unit. It was specifically fashioned to meet the rigorous demands of professional use in challenging environments. Each unit of SSG 08 features a meticulously designed system that incorporates a folding hard Eloxal-coated aircraft-aluminium stock. This stock is equipped with an adjustable rear monopod, a cheek piece that can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally, and a recoil pad with horizontal adjustability through the addition or removal of spacers.

This pad can also be adjusted vertically by sliding it up or down. The uniquely built pistol grip offers customizability by providing interchangeable back straps, permitting the adjustment to hand size for an optimized grip. The action of this firearm is adorned with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail, whereas the forend incorporates short Picatinny rails on both sides for versatility. Furthermore, the stock's underside harbours a UIT rail, permitting accessory additions such as a handstop. Each unit comes with a newly designed bi-pod, and the entire assembly sports a sleek black finish.
