SKB Cases 2SKB4900 Single Rifle Case Polyethylene Ribbed

The 2SKB4900 SKB Cases are ATA (Airline Transportation Association) rated, carefully crafted from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene- a material trusted by the U.S. military for creating durable, resilient cases and containers engineered to stand up to harsh field conditions. Its unique structure ensures that any possible scratches remain unseen as the color permeates through the material. The polyethylene used is resistant to all kinds of solvents, oils, fuels, and acids.

All features of this case are thoughtfully designed to optimize its function. The layout of the molded-in bumpers and ribs is specifically created to absorb shock and vibration, in addition to providing protective coverage for any external hardware. A key feature is the incorporation of an aluminum valance on the SKB cases, guaranteeing a secure "tongue and groove" closure. The inclusion of a neoprene "o-ring" gasket ensures the harmful effects of moisture are kept at bay.

These stylish cases are shaped from an Hdpe shell, and boast well-protected hardware thanks to the provision of safety bumpers. They are fitted with a weather-resistant o-ring seal, and secure die cast zinc locks. For ultimate protection, the interior of the cases is fully padded, accommodating rifles up to 48".
