Therefore, Shield Arms does not suggest the use of their steel mag catch with plastic OEM magazines. Instead, they advocate for pairing like materials - steel with steel or plastic with plastic.

Should you possess a first generation aluminum mag catch, please note that it may not be compatible with gen 2 S15 magazines. In such a case, Shield Arms strongly recommends upgrading to one of their steel catch offerings.
