PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Ruger 3830, a compact variant of the well-regarded Ruger Security-9, is equipped with a factory-installed Viridian E-Series red laser (635-650 nm). This lightweight laser unit, weighing just over half an ounce with the battery included, securely fastens to both the rail and trigger guard, and can be activated via ambidextrous push buttons.

Built sturdily with a through-hardened alloy steel slide and barrel that are blued, the Security-9 also boasts a high-performance grip frame made from glass-filled nylon. Its robust framework is complemented by a precision-machined, hard-coat anodized aluminum chassis, complete with full-length guide rails.

Other features include a textured grip frame for enhanced handling, a dovetailed high-visibility sight system with adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight, and safety provisions such as an integrated trigger safety, external manual safety, neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement, strong spring tension, and hammer catch that prevents the hammer from connecting with the firing pin unless the trigger is deployed. The package includes two magazines for user convenience.
