The Ruger 18081 is a Ruger® Precision® Rifle MAGNUM with a sleek black finish. This rifle features a 30 MOA Picatinny rail on its receiver and an 18" handguard with QD sling attachment points. Its handguard also showcases a target-style flat bottom that comes with a 1.5" dovetail compatible with RRS S.O.A.R. and other QD systems. With a heavy-contour barrel (.875 at muzzle) and a Ruger® Precision® Rifle Magnum Muzzle brake with a tunable compensator, this rifle boasts impressive technical specifications.
Moreover, it includes two 5-round AI-style mags, and its overall length ranges from 49.0" to 52.5" (40.35" when folded).

In-line Recoil Management in the bolt-action, a three-lug bolt with a 70° throw featuring dual cocking cams and a full diameter nitrided bolt body, an oversized bolt handle, as well as a bolt disassembly tool/trigger wrench stored in the bolt shroud. The rifle also has a pre-hardened 4140 chrome-moly steel "upper" receiver and 1-pc bolt.
The Type III hard coat anodized 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver/magwell and free-float handguard contain M-LOK® accessory slots on all 4 sides. The rifle also possesses an externally adjustable Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger and a magwell front tailored for a positive grip when braced against shooting supports.
Additional features comprise a cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel with 5rd Rifling, left-folding fully-adjustable Precision MSR stock with a cheek piece, a bottom Picatinny rail, QD sling points, and a soft rubber buttpad. This rifle also includes an AR-style buffer tube, an extended trigger-reach AR-style grip, coupled with a 45° Ambidextrous Safety Selector.
