PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The RCBS 17801 is a two-die set designed specifically for reloading bottleneck cases. The set includes a Full-Length Sizer Die equipped with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Seater Die that comes with a Bullet Seater Plug. The case is brought to Saami minimum cartridge dimensions by the Full-Length Sizer Die which sizes the exterior of the case, de-primes it, and expands the neck to accommodate the bullet. The presence of vents in the die helps to avert damage to the case which could be caused by trapped air or excessive lubricant. During full length sizing, headspace is carefully controlled to minimum tolerances to prevent alteration of the case body length. Additionally, the Seater Die in this set features an integrated roll crimper which ensures that the bullet is securely seated at the same time as its insertion.
