For the past 20 years or so, the handgun market has been flooded with striker-fired pistols. It started back in the early 1980s with the release of the Glock 17. Because of its popularity, many people think that Glock developed the first striker-fired pistol. Actually, it was H&K. H&K produced a striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol in 1970.

ATF has rescinded the prior methods of measurement of a firearm's overall length when the firearm is equipped with a "stabilizing brace". ATF Guidance for folding stocks is that "stabilizing braces" are merely accessories and are not relevant to the classification of a 'pistol' under the statutory definition.

AR-15s and AR-style rifles are selling at a record pace right now, due to the trying times that we are living in.

Most literature will tell you that there are three categories of muzzle devices. Correctly stated; there are three commonly used muzzle devices, however, there are more than three choices available for you to outfit your firearm with. The three most popular are flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and compensators.

There are varying opinions on if you should store ammunition in your magazines. I have come across so many different opinions about this topic, that I decided to research it for myself. I didn't really have an opinion on this matter, because I shoot and rotate ammunition regularly, in other words, it doesn't stay in my magazines for very long anyway.

Over the last couple of articles about lower receivers, we have established that the completed lower receiver is the firearm. There are a few steps involved when purchasing a completed lower receiver, including background checks, picking the receiver up from an FFL, and paying a fee.

Never has there ever been a weapon so impossibly popular and so impossibly misunderstood. The AR-15 is, without a doubt, America's Rifle. It's beloved and used by millions and millions of people.
