The Mossberg 50485, also known as 510 Mini, is a versatile shotgun designed with scaled-down proportions and reduced weight, offering a more pleasant shooting experience particularly for younger hunters. The Super Bantam variant features an 18.5" vent-rib barrel, coupled with an adaptable stock that has a 10.25" length of pull (LOP), expandable by an additional inch. For added convenience, the EZ-Reach forearm is placed closer to the shooter to simplify the cycling process.

Presenting a rugged aesthetic, this field model sports a black synthetic stock contrasted with a blued metal finish and dual-bead sights. It also comes equipped with an Accu-Set comprising multiple choke tubes.
