PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The MDT 104979-BLK are expertly designed magazines that boast an innovative Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design. This unique feature significantly reduces the overall height relative to industry standards. MDT AICS-pattern metal magazines showcase exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, thanks to their manufacture from high-strength steel, a nitride finish, and a Cerakote Elite coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces.
The MDT 104979-BLK magazines are compatible with a range of cartridges including 6.5 PRC, 270 WSM, 7 RSAUM, and 300 WSM. Designed without front binder plates, these magazines can accommodate a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960. They are compatible with all AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems.
However, please be advised that some of the popular actions, such as the Remington 700 and Savage 10/11, may require alterations to the receiver. Specifically, modifications might need to be made like notching out the bottom of the feed ramp. This is to prevent the bullet tips from snagging on the bottom of the feed ramp, as displayed in the image provided.
