The Magpul MAG781MCT, also known as the Magpul Suppressor Cover 5.5", is a groundbreaking product capable of withstanding the severe heat brought about by prolonged periods of semiautomatic and automatic gunfire. This advanced piece of equipment prevents injury and safeguards your gear from burn damage while accelerating the cooling process.

The cover is ingeniously designed using a heat-resistant polymer sleeve, laid over a protruding stainless steel heat shield. This assembly fastens directly to the suppressor body via sturdy steel clamps. Its design minimizes heat transfer keeping the external surface of the cover up to 1000 degrees F cooler than the actual suppressor surface. The cover also facilitates cooling airflow across the suppressor.

Apart from its core thermal functions, the Magpul MAG781MCT also acts as an enhanced thermal insulator and signature reduction device. It significantly lessens mirage distortions that can affect the shooter's sight picture.
