PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Magpul MAG781BLK is a pioneering 5.5" suppressor cover capable of withstanding intense heat from prolonged semiautomatic and automatic fire. Its innovative design safeguards not only the user but also the equipment from burn damage while hastening the cooling cycle. Using a durable, heat-resistant polymer sleeve layered over a raised stainless steel heat shield, it mounts directly on the suppressor body with steel clamps.

This exceptional cover efficiently reduces heat transfer, maintaining external surface temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the suppressor surface. It also facilitates cooling airflow across the suppressor. Beyond thermal protection, it offers enhanced signature reduction and significantly limits mirage distortions in the shooter's sight picture, considerably reducing potential impact damage to the suppressor body.

The suppressor cover, while decreasing the risk of accidental heat-associated injury or equipment damage during weapon firing and cool down, is optimized for 1.5" outer diameter round suppressors. These include a body length of roughly 5.5", excluding attachment hardware /interface like the Surefire SOCOM556-RC2. This product is proudly made in the USA.
