The Magpul MAG514-COY, also known as the MS3, is a versatile weapon sling system that allows the operator to choose between one-point attachment for increased maneuverability or two-point attachment for enhanced stability. It is designed with single-hand adjustments and quick-release, positive-locking hardware to promote ease of use and durability.
The MS3 GEN2 has been enhanced with a low profile quick-adjust slider and features symmetrical Paraclip shackles. These additions contribute to an effortless transition and the implementation of speedy weapon-release capabilities. The system also includes a cross-bolt lock bar in each Paraclip, allowing the user to securely lock the lever if needed. The Paraclip levers are crafted from steel that is case-hardened and finished with a ferritic nitrocarburizing process, promoting top-tier resistance to both wear and corrosion.
The rear sling mount of the MS3 is compatible with the Magpul Asap, offering optimal shoulder transitioning in one-point mode, as well as the SGA Receiver Sling Mount. It is also suitable for use with various snap-hook style sling loops* and standard or QD sling swivels. The front mounting is compatible with the Magpul RSA, MSA, and Forward Sling Mount, along with many snap-hook style sling loops* and standard or QD sling swivels for usage in two-point mode.
*Please note: For full range of motion, snap-hook style sling loops need to have an inner diameter of at least 3/8", though 9/16" and larger are preferred.
