Magpul MAG247-OD Mbus Front Folding Olive Drab Green Picatinny

Introducing the Magpul MAG247-ODG, a back-up sight that provides exceptional value. Manufactured as an injection molded, color variant, polymer folding back-up sight, the Mbus (Magpul Back-Up Sight) is adaptable to various needs. It's designed to align with most 1913 Picatinny-railed hand guards and specifically intended for the AR15/M16 platform.

The Mbus Front Sight is loaded with several features. It comes with the advantage of adjustable elevation and a spring-loaded flip-up sight, which can be activated from either side or by pressing the top. The sight maintains its upright position due to detent and spring pressure, simultaneously allowing unobstructed folding under impact.

Its design allows it to clamp onto most any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 railed hand guard and it provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons. Adding to its quality, it has protective wings to shield the spring-locking A2 front sight post. An elevation adjustment tool is included in the package, but you're free to use most aftermarket A2 front sight adjustment tools.

*NOTE: This sight cannot be mounted to a railed gas block because of potential excess heat issues. The Front Mbus must be attached to a railed fore end on the same plane as the receiver rail, rendering it incompatible with MOE Hand Guards.
