M1 Carbine Rifle, .30 Caliber, Semi-Auto, Original U.S. Military Contractors - C & R Eligible - NRA Surplus Good Condition. Cracked Stock. See more concerning what to expect to receive in regards to the cracked stock below. These were original WWII-era M1 Carbine rifles that were stored overseas for years before recently being re-imported back into the United States. The vast majority of the rifles being sold under this SKU were manufactured by the General Motors Inland Division, but there are some other manufacturers scattered among them while supplies last as well. Rifles have and are being sold under their original serial numbers and have not been re-serialized by the importer. Overall condition is a solid NRA Good Surplus condition... but with a cracked stock. We are basically selling these at a $100.00 dollar across-the-board discount from their non-cracked stock counterparts. About the condition - These are surplus rifles that have been stored for a number of years, in their original turn in condition. All of these rifles will have a crack in the stock and/or handguard of the rifle. In every case, this will be a repairable or non-function inhibiting crack. In most cases the cracks are minor and slipped by us on our initial inspection but when we did a wipe down and more thorough inspection a crack was revealed. Just like on all of our surplus M1 Carbines we also did a multi-point dry function test to ensure that the rifles would be in good working order. Also, while we never guarantee for bore condition, we did clean several bores and the bores cleaned up quite nicely on all of the guns that we randomly sampled to run a brush through.
Even though these are all cracked stock rifles we still do offer a hand select option as some are simply better than others overall from a cosmetic standpoint. Also, please note that the Inland manufactured rifles are being represented at our base price level, and other manufacturers can be selected at an additional charge, while supplies last. Each rifle ships with a reproduction bolt-hold open 15 round magazine. The quantity of guns under this SKU is very small so if you see a certain manufacturer sold out, it means that all of the cracked stock options under that manufacturer are gone. Personally, at a $100.00 discount, I would take this option all day long and do a one-dollar repair... but that is your call.
