PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

LACD380023 by Liberty Ammunition: The Civil Defense rounds by Liberty are engineered to provide superior stopping power (or kinetic energy) and consequential impact (lethal wound cavity) compared to all other handgun ammunition. The Civil Defense line represents a personal defense ammo that eliminates the use of lead and incorporates a monolithic, nickel-plated copper fragmenting projectile along with a deep cavity hollow point housed within a nickel-plated (brass) cartridge case. The velocity at which Civil Defense travels is nearly double that of traditional lead-based ammunition, resulting in a transfer of kinetic energy that is 30 to 40% more powerful than other leading ammunition in the market. With a 50 GR, 380 Auto make, the Civil Defense round achieves velocities reaching beyond 1500 FPS, carrying over 250 FPE of kinetic energy.
