IWI GAP26SB: The long-awaited next-generation Galil is here! The Gen 2 Galil Ace brings the same reliability that it has had since the original Galil from the 1960s. That system was a mixed design between the Russian AK-47 and the Finnish Valmet RK 62; both referred to as the best AK platforms ever made. Out of those two proficient rifles, the Galil came to life, saw many years of service, and proved itself to be a very effective platform. The Galil was given an upgraded design and became the Galil Ace; keeping its pedigree from its original, it became more user-friendly and modular. It really became a "modern" rifle with this Gen 2 model.

Featuring an M-Lok free-floating handguard and a full-length Picatinny top rail, it has never been easier to mount all of your mission-critical equipment. This Galil kept all of its original ambidextrous controls that the previous generation had. This model is chambered 5.56 NATO, meaning it can fire both 5.56x45 and .223 REM and can use all M4/AR15 magazines. This platform can become extremely compact, perfect for home defense, a bug-out bag gun, or even one to throw in the truck and take everywhere. Other new additions to the second-gen are a new trigger profile and a shortened safety selector with a shorter throw for faster manipulation. This long-stroke gas piston system will keep going no matter how hard you run it.
