The 42mm sunshade is threaded to fit Huskemaw 3-12x42 and 4-16x42 scopes as well as comparable scopes with 42mm objective lenses. It limits light entry to prevent sun spots, light artifacts, washout, and glare while providing dual protection for both image quality and the objective lens.
