PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Hunting Shack BER300WM168V is a result of a unique collaboration between HSM and Berger to bring forth an exclusive range of rifle ammunition. Previously, these were made available exclusively to handloaders. The Berger VLD hunting bullets featured in this ammunition are specially designed to penetrate between 2" and 3" before the onset of expansion.
Once the expansion process commences, the bullets shatter, losing about 40% to 85% of their weight as shrapnel that infiltrates the surrounding tissues and organs. This results in a significantly large wound cavity. The bulk of the bullet's energy is consumed within the target animal, therefore, bringing about quick and humane kills.
These rounds are manufactured with the superior Winchester brass, high-precision match-grade primers, and new powders. The unique powders are unaffected by variations in temperature and altitude, ensuring consistent performance.
