PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Hunting Shack BER3006185VL represents the exclusive Trophy Gold rifle ammunition range, co-developed by HSM and Berger. This range features Berger's premier, match-grade VLD (Very Low Drag) bullets, perfect for hunting small, medium to large-sized game. Unlike the past when these bullets were only available to handloaders, now every hunter can benefit from their superior performance.
The Berger's VLD hunting bullets are designed with the highest ballistic coefficient in mind, optimized for long-range shots spanning over 300 yards while still ensuring excellent performance at close range. The unique design of the VLD incorporates a sharp hollow point nose, configured to penetrate between two to three inches before it begins to expand.
Following the initial expansion, the bullet loses between 40% to 85% of its weight, transforming into shrapnel that penetrates into the surrounding tissues and organs. This results in a devastating wound channel, ensuring the bullet's energy and hydrostatic shock are expended efficiently throughout the target animal's mass.
