PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Hunting Shack BER270130VLD: A collaborative effort between HSM and Berger has resulted in the exclusive Trophy Gold rifle ammunition line. These rounds are loaded with Berger's top-tier match grade VLD (Very Low Drag) hunting bullets, suitable for all game sizes. These VLD hunting bullets, which were previously only accessible to hand loaders, boast the highest achievable ballistic coefficient.

They are designed to excel at shots over 300 yards while still providing outstanding performance at close range. The VLD design includes a sharp hollow point nose, engineered to penetrate between 2" and 3" before the expansion phase begins. After the initial expansion, the bullet sheds between 40% and 85% of its weight as shrapnel into the surrounding tissue and organs.

This results in a devastating wound channel, causing the bulk of the bullet's energy and hydrostatic shock to be expended within the body mass of the target animal, ensuring a successful hunt.
