PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Hunting Shack BER264WM140V is the result of a fruitful collaboration between HSM and Berger, culminating in the Trophy Gold rifle ammo range, exclusively loaded with Berger's first-class match grade VLD (Very Low Drag) hunting bullets. These offer diverse game size options, from small to large.
These premium VLD hunting bullets were once only accessible to hand loaders, but now, they impress with their unrivaled ballistic coefficient. This specific feature makes them ideal for shots going beyond 300 yards, all the while maintaining superb close range performance.
The VLD bullets showcase a sharp hollow point nose, cleverly designed to penetrate between 2 to 3 inches before initiating expansion. Following the initiation of expansion, 40%-85% of the bullet weight is shed as shrapnel into the target's tissues and organs. This creates a destructive wound channel and results in most of the bullet's energy and hydrostatic shock being utilized within the target animal's body mass.
