PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hunting Shack BER260130VLD is the result of a partnership between HSM and Berger, forming a one-of-a-kind line of Trophy Gold rifle ammunition. This ammunition is loaded with Berger's top-tier VLD (Very Low Drag) hunting bullets that are perfect for small, medium, and large game alike. Berger's VLD hunting bullets, previously exclusive to hand-loaded ammunition, boast a supreme ballistic coefficient designed for long-range shots over 300 yards but still deliver optimal performance at shorter ranges.

The design of the VLD includes a sharp, hollow point nose that is purposefully crafted to penetrate between 2 and 3 inches before it starts to expand. Following the initial expansion, the bullet sheds 40% to 85% of its weight as shrapnel into the surrounding tissue and organs, creating a substantial wound channel. In this process, nearly all the energy and hydrostatic shock of the bullet is dissipated throughout the target animal's body, resulting in a devastating impact.
