PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Hornady 8552 Superformance ammunition outperforms conventional ammunition by reaching speeds 100 to 200 fps faster. This stellar performance is notable as it doesn't lead to an increase in felt recoil, muzzle blast, temperature sensitivity, fouling, or loss of precision. The distinguishing factor of Superformance ammo lies in the use of advanced propellants that take any SST or GMX bullets to unprecedented performance levels, not achievable with standard propellants.

Previously, shooters would have to rely on a brute force approach to achieve more velocity, employing large charge weights of slowly burning powder in a larger cartridge case, which consequently resulted in more recoil and muzzle blast.
