This mechanism ensures that the hammer can only come into contact with the firing pin when the trigger is engaged.

The device is designed with an integrated safety system which prohibits either opening or shutting the action if the hammer is cocked. Encased in a robust steel frame, the Henry H01512S portrays an aesthetically pleasing visual with its American Walnut pistol grip buttstock.
