PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Great Lakes Firearms GL15223SSWDB is a semi-auto action firearm that does not include an ambidextrous safety feature. It boasts a 16-inch heavy barrel (HBAR) with a 1:8 twist, available in either 416rd SS or 4150 Crmov Nitride and 1/2 x 28 threading. It is uniquely suited to the .223 Wylde caliber, handling both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO rounds seamlessly.

Equipped with M4 feed ramps, this firearm is finished with a durable Cerakote finishing. The frame is crafted from high-strength aluminum 7075 for longevity. The firearm features a 0.750 gas block in a black oxide finish coupled with a carbine gas tube for a smooth gas system. The grip is made from a mil-spec polymer for a comfortable hold.

The handguard measures 15.25, constructed from aluminum 6061, and fitted with a complete picatiny rail for customization. With a magazine capacity of 30 rounds and one mag included, this firearm offers impressive shooting power. The muzzle brake is specifically designed to be wrench tightened forward at 6 degrees without the need for Loctite. However, sights are not included in this model.

Performance-wise, the firearm comes with a mil-spec trigger, offering a pull weight between 5.5-6 lbs for efficient usage. The upper part of the firearm is carved out of 7075 material.
