PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The G-MYS GL15223SS from Great Lakes Firearms is a semi-automatic .223 Wylde rifle. Its 16-inch, 1:8 twist heavy barrel (HBAR) comes in your choice of 416R SS with 1/2 x 28 threads. The .223 Wylde caliber means that it's compatible with both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO.

This rifle is not fitted with an ambidextrous safety. Its handguard boasts a 15.25-inch aluminum 6061 full picatinny rail, and its frame is constructed from durable Aluminum 7075. The finish is a high-quality Cerakote, ensuring the firearm's longevity and corrosion resistance.

The rifle's gas system includes a 0.750 Gas Block (finished with black oxide) and a Carbine Gas Tube. It features a Mil-spec Polymer grip. Its M4 feed ramps facilitate reliable ammunition feeding, and its trigger has a Milspec 5.5-6 lb pull weight.

Each G-MYS GL15223SS rifle comes with one 30-round magazine and includes a muzzle brake. This brake is specifically designed to be wrenched tightly at 6 degrees forward without the use of Loctite. Please note that the rifle does not come with sights. The overall length is 33.25 inches, and it weighs in at 8.05 lbs.
