PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Manufactured in Michigan, the Great Lakes Firearms brand is quickly establishing a tremendous name for itself in the firearms community. This beautiful pistol from the Midwest fills the need for an affordable AR that you can trust to be built right. Chambered in .223 Wylde, which was designed to maximize the ballistics of both .223Rem and 5.56Nato, these GLFA AR15 pistols feature a 7.5" barrel in your choice of a beautiful 416r stainless steel or an ultra-smooth 4150 CRMOV black nitride finish with a 1:8” twist. These pistols use M4 feed ramps. The heavy barrel incorporates a pistol-length gas tube, with 0.750 Gas Block. The barrel is threaded in 1/2x28 and is fitted with a ported compensator hand tightened to the firearm. Each barrel is surrounded by a 7.125" 6061 aluminum M-Lok handguard with a full picatinny rail on top, allowing you to attach the different accessories you may require.

Featuring a 7075 forged upper and lower receiver, and an overall length of 23.5”, it weighs in at just 5lbs. The AR15 pistol series of GLFA firearms ship with pistol buffer tube ONLY. Great Lakes Firearms are highly recognizable due to their vibrant colors and beautiful finish. They take tremendous pride in the fact that they are an in-house certified Cerakote applicator.
