PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Forster Products NTG277, a Neck Tension Gauge (NTG), functions as a reliable inspection tool designed to accurately screen and sort a batch of brass before you undertake your bullet seating operation. Each NTG provides crucial data to reloaders, ensuring precise neck tensions during the bullet seating process. Ideal for use after sizing the case neck and before bullet seating, this tool assists in determining the perfect inside neck diameter, which facilitates a consistent release of a bullet from your reloaded rounds. Additionally, you can inspect the inside diameters of case necks to ensure no 'donut' has formed at the neck-shoulder junction.
The NTG Neck Tension Gauge Inspection Tool features four incrementally increasing diameters that span from the stepped end up to the handle. Each diameter is clearly etch-marked on the metal tool for easy identification. To use it, simply insert the tool's stepped end into the neck of your sized case and slide it through until one of the diameters achieves a suitable slip fit in the case neck. Utilize the obtained value to meticulously fine-tune your case preparation.
