The EOTech VDU1-10FFSR5TAN, also known as EOTECHs Vudu 1-10x28, comes with a robust 34mm aircraft aluminum tube that is finely crafted in one piece. A single-piece eyepiece is also included and features a removable throw-lever that facilitates swift changes in magnification. Furthermore, a low-profile elevation turret is incorporated with a push/pull locking system, coupled with a capped windage turret, guaranteeing a safe zero.

Unique aspects of this item include an illuminated, glass-etched reticle, complimented by a first focal plane design, which ensures accurate distance estimation regardless of the magnification or lighting condition. Moreover, the well-known EOTech illuminated speed ring is combined with a hashmarked inner crosshair reticle within the SR-5 design; using MRAD subtension lines for effective ranging holdover and wind compensation.

The reticle design emulates a Christmas tree style and provides a precision 0.25 MRAD center aiming dot. Additional windage and elevation features are present for accurate holds on longer range shots. The Vudu 1-10x also prides itself on an auto-shutdown feature, which turns off the illumination after about 2 hours of inactivity; effectively preserving battery life and mitigating the risk of unintentionally leaving the illumination on.
