PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Desert Tech SRSA2-SBBM00R: The Desert Tech SRS A2 Chassis is the latest variant from the company. The new A2 chassis system features the same ergonomic bullpup design as the A1, but with features designed to make the SRS A2 chassis system more accurate, lightweight, and reliable. The SRS A2 chassis will be available in the more compact SRS A2 Covert model as well for additional maneuverability and weight reduction.
The SRS A2 Chassis will also feature the new A2 trigger, which is designed to make the system less complicated while providing the shooter with a crisper break and better reset. The A2 trigger can be adjusted from 1.5 to 7 lbs, which offers shooters a lot of versatility and has a flat contour for improved ergonomics. Desert Tech also upgraded the barrel clamping system in the A2 chassis, and the new system reduces the stress placed on the barrel when installed. The A2 chassis also now features an integral tripod attachment point, and a Harris bipod mounts for increased stability.
One of Desert Tech’s goals when developing the SRS A2 Chassis was to reduce the overall weight, making it a more maneuverable and capable system. Desert Tech was able to cut weight from the chassis by fluting the receiver and removing the monopod. The new system substitutes the Picatinny rail handguard for more a lightweight M-Lok handguard. The receiver in the A2 chassis features additional clearance allowing for smoother bolt manipulation.
Note - This is a chassis only. Spare barrels, mags, and bolts are sold separately.
