This particular model comes with the Pin Pal - a front takedown pin replacement by Cross Armory - featuring a locking nut and a lubricated captive bearing to mitigate excessive wear on the front pivot point. The Pin Pal, constructed from 4140 ordnance steel with a melonite hard coat, can conveniently be removed if you decide to revert to your original factory settings.
