PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Carlsons 80100 is a Ported Bone Collector Turkey Choke Tube that stands out with its ultra-tight, pattern-tested constriction. This special feature enables it to cast very dense patterns with a range of shotshell ammunition intended for hunting turkeys. These include lead, nickel-plated, copperplated, bismuth, hevi-shot, tungsten, and TSS.
Designed to promise precision in each shot, these choke tubes present a longer taper section to the constriction, guaranteeing tighter patterns without any surplus flyers. Thus, it ensures that more pellets are hitting the target with every shot.
Skillfully built from 17-4 heat-treated stainless steel, the Bone Collector Choke tubes exhibit a matte black finish that doesn't reflect. Each choke tube constriction has undergone extensive pattern testing and has consistently rendered the most accurate patterns with 4 to 10 shots. If your hunting preference lies with shot sizes larger than #4, make sure to use a more open choke tube to achieve the best patterning.
It's critical to remember to pattern your shotgun choke tube with the specific shotshell load you plan to use. Distinct types and brands of ammunition will produce varied patterns from the same choke tube.
