The Battenfeld 1122187, also known as the Caldwell Claymore, holds the distinction of being the first manual, clay target trap that does not require a battery to operate. It contains a magazine capable of holding 50 clay targets.

Unique in its operation, the Claymore functions via foot operation. Simply apply pressure to the pedal with your foot and it will cock, load, and release the clay targets. It has the power to launch these targets to a distance reaching up to 55 yards.
