PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Berger Bullet 25513 stands out as one of the most efficient hunting bullets for large game. Its VLD design features a sharp nose that penetrates approximately 2" to 3" before it begins to expand. This expansion process causes the bullet to shed between 40% and 85% of its weight as shrapnel which disperses into the surrounding tissue (internal organ).

This dual action of shrapnel and hydrostatic shock creates a considerable wound cavity in the vital area (internal organs), which measures 13" to 15" in length and ensures a quick takedown. Unlike most hunting bullets that maintain high weight retention for deep penetration, Berger bullets release their energy within the animal for optimal effectiveness. Usage of the Berger's VLD will swiftly down the target, allowing you to appreciate the fruits of your hunt without the need for post-shot tracking of the wounded animal.
