PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Berger Bullet 24527 from our Hunting line of bullets is renowned as one of the most deadly shots for big game hunting. Its VLD design features a sharp nose, which enables the bullet to penetrate between 2" and 3" before beginning to expand. As the bullet expands, it sheds from 40% to 85% of its weight as shrapnel, consequently causing serious internal damage.

This combined effect of shrapnel and hydrostatic shock results in a massive internal cavity, measuring from 13" to 15" long, causing the prey to fall quickly. Unlike other bullets which often pass through like an arrow, our Berger bullets efficiently release their energy inside the target, making it more effective.
