PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Barrett 18486, designed with a primary focus on precision and modularity, is a versatile firearm that performs excellently whether on a practice range or in active duty. It boasts a monolithic upper receiver, hewn from 7000-series aluminium, and includes a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail that has a built-in taper for long range precision. It also features mounting slots situated at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions on its hand guard, providing a solid and adaptable platform for affixing rails, electro-optics, among other accessories.

A distinguishing characteristic of the MRAD is its user-changeable barrel system. This allows the user to swiftly and conveniently convert the firearm to any of 8 different calibers or multiple barrel lengths by merely loosening two bolts with a standard Torx wrench; there is no requirement for a gunsmith. The lower receiver houses a fully adjustable match-grade trigger module, thus enabling the user to effortlessly set their preferred pull.

The stock of the MRAD folds over to the right side, massively reducing the overall width for a smaller footprint and simpler transport. When unfolded, the stock locks firmly into position, providing an interface as sturdy and steady as any fixed-stock rifle. Its tool-less length of pull and cheek piece height adjustment feature makes the MRAD easily adjustable to comfortably accommodate shooters of all sizes and shapes. The MRAD is also great for both right- and left-handed shooters, thanks to its use of an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, a left/right interchangeable thumb safety, and AR15/M16 pistol grips.
