PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Barnes Bullets 30170: The Varmint Grenade, a lead-free bullet typically used by the military, provides precision akin to that of a sniper for reliable long-distance shots. This hollow cavity and flat-based bullet boasts an interior made of copper-tin powdered metal, encased in a gilded metal jacket. It's designed to stay intact at incredibly high velocities in fast twist barrels, while its highly breakable core splits intensely upon impact. This causes almost instant destruction even when targeting ground squirrels or prairie dogs at far distances.
The Varmint Grenades are engineered to release their energy instantly, rarely exiting larger preys like bobcats and coyotes, consequently leaving their valuable skins virtually unblemished. Due to the unique construction of the Varmint Grenade, for optimal accuracy it is recommended to seat it off the lands and grooves by .020".
